I'm Late! Sofiero; Helsingborg, Sweden

On our recent trip to Helsingborg Sweden, we were fortunate enough to see the Palace of Sofiero! The website states: "This year we celebrate winning the award "Europe's Most Beautiful Park 2010"

And it's true, the Garden's are just UNBELIEVEABLE!

Walking thru, I felt like Alice... the flowers are... well... such a feast for the eyes....

Our only regret was not having enough time to stay longer... we just did not have enough time to see all of the gardens...

As you walk down the paths, many of the flowering bushes are tower above your head, and it's easy to get lost in another world...

So if you ever get the time to go, I highly recommend a visit to the gorgeous Sofiero...

the wedding gift to Prince Gustaf Adolf and his wife Margareta!

Hi Caryl:)

Many thanks for showing some glimpses of this fascinating garden. The colors, the variety, the settings transported me to a lovely fairy land. I am not surprised that you felt like Alice.

Your drawing inset among the flowers is gorgeous.

Wow - what beautiful gardens - lucky you and your art - so sweet - it reminds me of an artist who painted very similar faces way back in the 70's - wish I could find her name!
